I read fashion blogs all the time and find clothing that I like, only to realize that the clothes really aren’t made for my body type. So when I was given the opportunity to work with with Petite Dressing – a clothing boutique that specializes in petite fashion, I knew it was a perfect match! Petite Dressing is a New York City based clothing boutique founded in 2016 by Chi (a 5’2″ former investment banker). Chi decided to start Petite Dressing after she came to the realization that the only options for petite women were the big corporate chains (such as Ann Taylor, J. Crew, and Banana Republic). Petite Dressing works with independent American and European designers to bring you classic, high-quality designs that are petite friendly. Tremendous thought and research goes into what they sell as Petite Dressing has realized what is most flattering for a petite silhouette. Take a look at their Petite Resources as it is filled with useful information for petite women. This black flounce sleeve sweater is one of my favorite tops from Petite Dressing. The chic design can make any simple outfit look feminine and stylish. As a sweater, this top is perfect for the colder winter temperatures. I am wearing a small and it fits perfectly. Isn’t this petite suede skirt with bead detail just darling? The bead detailing truly elevates the design of the skirt and makes it unique. Made from a suede-like material, this skirt is also perfect for chilly weather. I have paired it with over the knee boots, but it would also look nice with heels. Overall, this is such a chic outfit! I received so many complements when I wore it. OUTFIT DETAILS Sleeveless Lace Short Dress | Swarovski Necklace (Old – similar here) | YSL Wallet on Chain | Stuart Weitzman Stecy Sandals | Michele Deco Diamond Watch |David Yurman Cable Classics Bracelet | YSL Lipstick (Smoking Plum) I literally gasped when I opened the box to see this Sleeveless Lace Short Dress in person! The pictures do not do it justice. It immediately reminded me of the styling of Self Portrait dresses, and the quality is just as nice. No detail was spared when it came to making this dress! This dress is fully lined and is definitely petite-friendly. I always worry about how long a lace dress will be on me, as they are almost impossible to alter. This dress however fit like a glove in every aspect! I am wearing a small and it fits perfectly. The empire waist detail is such a nice feature of this dress as it hugs my curves and serves to lengthen the appearance of my legs. The lace detailing at the bottom makes this dress so feminine and flattering as well. We had some warmer weather when we photographed this dress. In the winter months it can be a bit chilly, so I would pair this dress with a faux fur coat or a stole. This dress is perfect for date night, an upscale party, or even a wedding! This dress is priced under $80, which I think is a fantastic price for such a high-quality dress. OUTFIT DETAILS Petite Wrap Sweater | Amanda and Chelsea Polka Dot Ankle Pant | Swarovski Necklace (old – similar here) | Ann Taylor Bow Pumps (new version here) | Prada Tote | NARS Lip Pencil (Cruella) Petite Dressing also offers many office- appropriate fashions. I have to dress for work five days out of the week. This gorgeous red wrap sweater is perfect for the office or for a more casual style.  This sweater is perfect for the colder fall and winter temperatures. The body contouring design is definitely petite-friendly. It is designed so that it can be tied in the front or the back. The most challenging aspect of shopping for petite fashions is finding pants that fit. So many times I have had to have even petite sized pants and jeans hemmed to compensate for my shorter inseam. Petite Dressing understands this, and they purposefully curate designs that are appropriate for petite women. These Amanda and Chelsea Polka Dot ankle pants are so chic, and they fit so well! I am wearing a size 2 and these pants required no alterations. The 25″ inseam works so well for my legs.  What really makes these pants unique is the subtle yet chic polka-dot design. Overall this is such a classy look, both for work and into the evening and beyond. Overall, I highly recommend Petite Dressing. It is so refreshing to find a company that understands the needs of a petite woman like myself. The clothes are classic, stylish, and affordable. Customer Service has been superb, and shipping is prompt. I would definitely shop here again! As always, thanks for looking! *This post contains affiliate links xo | April Thank you Petite Dressing for sponsoring this post.
