Outfit Details: Sea Dress (navy version here), Valextra Bag, Gianvito Rossi Pumps (similar less expensive version here) We’re flying back home today from Minneapolis where we’ve been for the past few days, reminding me that it’s very much still winter outside of Charleston. I’ve mentally checked out of the cold season and have been dressing for spring, even if it’s only through colors, like blush and blue. But on days that have allowed for some warm weather attire, I’ve been pulling out pieces that feel so fresh after winter’s darker shades. Sea is one of those brands that I can always count on. Each season there are always a handful of pieces I’d happily add to my closet. Last year I bought this light chambray dress on sale before our trip to Provence along with a yellow linen top and skirt I wore here and here last spring. I pre-ordered this cream dress (it also comes in navy here) a few months ago and it arrived recently, just in time for a warm day to bring it out. I love the straight silhouette and oversized off sleeves, just enough without being too much. I love a good understated statement.
