|What To Wear To Coachella|
Festival season is almost here! Coachella is only a week away (how did that happen?), so it’s definitely time to start putting outfits together. I wore this outfit the other day for a job, but it felt so festival-y (is that a word?) that I decided to tie it into this festival blog post! I love how flowy this dress is, with a few western hints in the boots and belt making it ready for the desert. I love how Coachella is such a fun laid back festival, and it’s so close to home. I look forward to this every year from hanging with friends to the the cute blogger houses in Palm Springs…oh and of course the amazing artists! Here are some trends you can tag along with to get ready for festival season! festival season The Kooples Dress | Boots | Bag Fringe I’m looking for all things fringe because I feel like fringe is the ultimate Coachella vibes. I was in love with my fringe Rebecca Minkoff skirt I wore a few years ago which, believe it or not, is still available on the Outnet (linked here) if you want to shop! Hoping to find a cute statement skirt again this year. 70s Allll the decades are coming back better than ever. I’ve been seeing a lot of 90s trends this season, and love all the 70s looks right now too. I lovveeee the colored lens sunglasses for this look, especially with yellow tints. Since Woodstock sparked music festivals in the 70s, it’s only fitting to keep the styles going…and who doesn’t love a little bellbottoms ;) Suede Suede, suede, suede. I can’t get enough suede this season, so this will be no exception. I wore a ton of suede the past few years, but my favorite was probably the ALC suede skirt. The Real Real has a slightly longer version of it right now (still the same brand!), linked here. Denim If you’re having a roadblock on festival outfits, or even need something cute to wear on the car ride there, some statement jeans are the way to go. Pair a simple tee and some sneakers and you’re road trip ready! You can also dress up some wide leg jeans for the night shows. The flare legs also go with the 70s vibes, and are perfect for a casual festival look. Flowy Dresses Every festival needs flowy dresses, they go hand in hand! It’s usually hot hot hot at Coachella, so a breezy dress will keep you cool and also perfect for some twirly photo ops ;) Check out these flowy boho dresses I’m loving. Accessories Festival accessories are my favorite part of putting my outfits together. It’s so fun to see what people are adding to their hair and cool makeup ideas. Who doesn’t want an excuse to put glitter and beads in your hair? This is the time to go all out and get creative! Just ordered a lot of these from this list, so check it out (anyone else obsessively check their tracking numbers?)
